Fursuit head $900+

Dragon Soup’s fursuit heads are made out of upholstery foam. All foam pieces are lined with spandex. Heads either slip on like a helmet or have a zipper in the back depending on how form fitting the head is. Eyes are 3D printed and the wearer sees through painted vinyl mesh. Noses are cast from urethane rubber so they cannot be scratched.

Fursuit heads can be skinned with faux fur, spandex or fleece. Machine quilting and dimensional fabric paint can be utilized to add texture to spandex and fleece. Airbrushing can add highlights, shadows, or details to finished heads.

Available features:

  • 3D printed or cast resin pieces (horns, spikes, etc)

  • Swappable eyes or eyelids using magnets or Velcro

  • Fan installation (+$50)

  • Custom zippered carrying case (+$60)

Faux Fur tails ($60-200)

Dragon Soup’s faux fur tails feature two webbing belt loops sewn flat to the base. Markings can be airbrushed on as an economical option or sewn in for a bold look. Magnets can be added to the base so the tail can be worn without a belt through lightweight clothing like a skirt or leggings.

Add-ons:

  • Magnets ($30-50 depending on weight of tail)

  • Zipper to access stuffing ($20)

  • Zippered pocket ($20)

  • Squeaker ($5 each)

Squishy Tails ($120+)

This style of tail is made out of heavy knit fabric and small Styrofoam beads. They are soft, fun to squeeze and easy to pack. They feature a small invisible zipper to grant access to the inner chamber for easy re-filling. (Beads may compress over time. Refill beads are not included.)

The outer skin can be made from dye-sublimated spandex. Customers can design their own skin or have Dragon Soup design one using Clip Studio Paint.

Hands ($150-200)

Hands can either be glove-like or padded and chunky. They can be made from faux fur, spandex, vinyl, or other fabric.

Add-ons:

  • Resin claws

  • Stuffed fabric paw pads

  • Silicone or urethane rubber paw pads

  • Quilted spandex skin

  • Matching sleeves

Feet ($200+)

Feet paws can be designed to be worn with socks or with a slip-on shoe permanently built inside. Toes are formed either using poly-fil or carved upholstery foam depending on the shape.

Add-ons:

  • Urethane rubber outsoles for outdoor wear

  • Urethane rubber claws

  • Matching leg sleeves or chaps

  • Sandals ($60)

Partial Fursuits ($1300+)

A partial fursuit includes a head, tail, hands, feet, and arm sleeves. Parts may be omitted to lower the price, or additional pieces can added like leg sleeves, sandals, or accessories that match your character.

If you intend to only wear your partial fursuit with clothing and never with a faux fur bodysuit, the pieces will be built as slim and close to your body as possible. Fursuit heads will have no padding on the back of your head and a zipper in the center back seam.

Add-ons:

  • Chaps or pants

  • Sandals

  • Rubberized soles on the feet

Un-padded Fursuits ($2200+)

Un-padded fursuits include a head, feet, hands, a tail, and a machine washable bodysuit. The hands and feet can be separate, attached, or zippered on. Entry into the bodysuit will be through a front zipper. A duct tape dummy (DTD) is required for all bodysuit commissions.

Add-ons:

  • Small plush wings, spikes, or other features.

  • Pockets (outside or inside)

  • Additional zipper installation

Padded Fursuits ($2700)

Padded fursuits include a head, feet, hands, tail, a machine washable bodysuit and removable padding. Padding can either be poly-fil pillows for a soft and huggable costume, or hollow foam for better air flow and larger shapes. The hands and feet can be separate, attached, or zippered on. Entry into the bodysuit will be through a front zipper. A duct tape dummy (DTD) is required for all bodysuit commissions.

Add-ons:

  • Small plush wings, spikes, or other features.
